Unique team building experience in Rome: Revents' thrilling treasure hunt
Rome has a way of surprising you, and we wanted the same for our client’s team. They asked Revents to design a two-day incentive trip, and we thought, why settle for ordinary? On the first afternoon, we kicked off a treasure hunt that felt part history lesson, part friendly competition, part mini-adventure.
As always, with our treasure hunts, every clue we designed, every stop we scheduled, every challenge we threw at the team was carefully thought out, in order to reach specific corporate goals. We wanted participants to dive into a story and to cherish teamwork as much as winning - possibly more.

Treasure hunt: history, culture, collaboration
Immersive challenges that sparked teamwork
We brought ancient Rome to life, literally. Characters from the past popped up at certain stops, guiding teams, teasing them, or offering hints. Every trial was carefully customised to those who were called upon to overcome it, ensuring that collective success relied on team-play more than individual effort. Collaboration wasn’t optional—it was necessary. Teams had to talk, plan, and sometimes improvise together. The goal wasn’t just to reach the treasure but to spend the afternoon actively working as one, which ended up building a sense of camaraderie almost by accident.
Creative routes and hidden clues
Maps, riddles, hidden markers—our design encouraged participants to look at Rome differently. It wasn’t a straight walk around the city; it was a series of surprises, historical tidbits, and collaborative puzzles that kept everyone on their toes. Energy levels stayed high because each challenge had just enough difficulty to make triumph satisfying and each success felt earned.
A celebration that mattered
Themed party by the Tevere
After the hunt, the Tevere shore awaited. Costumes inspired by ancient Rome, music in the background, and a lively atmosphere set the scene for a relaxed yet festive evening. The winning team was conveniently celebrated, of course, but that doesn't mean that other participants were left out of the fun! We were very keen on every single attendee enjoying the feeling of being part of something much bigger than their own individual experience. We struck the perfect balance, following intense problem-solving endeavours, with moments dedicated to human connection, where the client's team could finally relax, share a laugh, and reflect on the thrills of the day.
Details that made it authentic
Small touches mattered. From décor to thematic music, we wanted the Roman theme to feel real, immersive without feeling staged. Participants were able to move from challenge mode to celebration mode naturally, making the experience stick without ever feeling forced.
Exploring Rome beyond the ordinary
Exclusive Colosseum visit
Day two took a more traditional turn but with a twist. The Colosseum is iconic, of course, but we arranged access to areas that aren’t usually open. Millions of tourists every year wish they could peek behind the scenes, know what goes on in the corners of this majestic landmark that are not open to the public: our guests were granted this unique opportunity.
Connecting moments to teamwork
The tour proved to be the perfect moment to contemplate the joys of the day before, relax, focus on building solid connections, and recognise how collaboration had shaped the treasure hunt. By connecting those experiences, participants left with a stronger sense of cohesion—an outcome that mattered as much as having fun.

Impact through thoughtful design
The treasure hunt, party, and Colosseum tour all worked together. Teams collaborated naturally, problem-solved creatively, and discovered Rome in a playful yet meaningful way. The participants connected in that special way that allows a group of colleagues to transition into a proper team, with shared memories, emotions, goals.
