A Christmasn team building experience for Fitprime’s team in Rome
There are many reasons for a company to want to book a team building session with us and the projects we design are always tailored on the client's needs. With Fitprime there was a clear goal: it was all about celebrating the company’s achievements and using this celebration as a springboard to reflect on future goals, and provide employees with an engaging, high-quality Christmas event.
The brief was ambitious yet precise—deliver an experience that would foster collaboration, energise the team, and offer a day that felt both meaningful and enjoyable. The day commenced with a corporate meeting, providing a structured start, but soon evolved into an immersive, interactive, and memorable experience that seamlessly combined teamwork, problem-solving, and positive-minded engagement.

Murder mystery snack: immersive fun and teamwork
We found a space that was just perfect for such an event: rich in character, yet casual enough to let people breathe and feel perfectly at ease. It didn’t feel stiff, didn’t feel like a boardroom dressed up as a ballroom. The ‘Murder Mystery Snack’ activity was designed to intrigue and energise. Not the conventional dinner setup, mind you. The participants arrived, slightly curious, slightly sceptical (a natural human reaction), and soon found themselves drawn into a narrative they didn’t know they’d enjoy so much. The main concept was, as you might have guessed, a variation on the idea of a “murder mystery dinner” adapted for daytime fun.
Puzzles, teamwork, and a touch of drama
Groups were formed, and the case was laid out. A professional actress guided the story, dropping hints, teasing teams, nudging them along just enough. Every interaction was crafted to push collaboration and spark conversation. Some teams dove in eagerly, others hesitated, bickered a little, then rallied, and that’s when the magic happened. People laughed, debated, made mistakes, and somehow pieced together the clues. It wasn’t about winning, really; it was about working together, sharing ideas, and discovering new sides of colleagues.
Culinary delights and festive energy
After the mystery was successfully solved, it was time to eat. And, as always, the buffet didn’t disappoint. We made sure to work extra-hard on inclusivity: everything was vegan, gluten-free, and beautifully presented, it satisfied everyone and it provided that unique social moment that any professional event needs, in order to be a success. Food, in Italy, is never just food: it’s a chance to relax, swap stories about the recently shared experience, and celebrate being together as a team.

Music and karaoke
Evening rolled in with music, laughter, and karaoke. Not forced, but enthusiastic, spontaneous, joyful. That transition from structured activity to playful freedom gave the day a natural rhythm. People let their hair down, sang off-key, cheered wildly—it was human, it was fun, and it tied the whole experience together.
A day that genuinely exceeded expectations
By the time the day wrapped, it was clear: the event worked. People had collaborated, laughed, and bonded in ways that a regular office day could never create. Employees felt involved, appreciated, and yes, even energised, which is no small feat in December.
Lasting impressions
From the morning meeting to the final karaoke encore, every moment had a purpose, yet it never felt staged. People left chatting, smiling, remembering little moments—the funny quips, the dramatic plot twists, the group high-fives. Fitprime got more than an event; they got a day that reflected their culture, values, and dedication to their team, wrapped in a story that participants can genuinely treasure.
